ISO 22000 : 2005 is a certifiable international standard for Food Safety management (FSMS) . Integrating the principals of HACCP and application steps developed by the Codex Commission, it aims to eliminate or reduce hazards associated with food throughout the manufacturing process and food chain, and thereby ensure the food is safe for consumption by consumers.
